Great pics. I'm glad to hear that you enjoyed your vaccation!

Is that a pet cooler collar on Oz? Does it seem to help?

I haven't seen any Oz pictures in awhile, and man, have I been deprived! What a handsome boy!!

Thanks everybody! Can't tell you how much I just love the Oz man. I'm pretty sure it's mutual. He's been so standoffish to Gull and Murph since we got back. Think he wants me all to himself. Course Murph and Gull have been stuck to me like glue and I missed them so much I've been giving them extra attention, so I'm sure that has something to do with it too.

hi lv4dogs! Yep that's a cooler. It really didn't work too well. Oz has too much fur, so I doubt he felt any coolness from it. Plus, it dried up pretty quick. I think it would work better on a very short haired dog.

I know I've said this before, but I just have to say it again...Oz is one stunning dog! Great pictures! I would have sworn some came out of a doggie calendar!

Where about in Texas is this? It's absolutely gorgeous scenery! I'm glad you had a good time despite getting swept down the mini rapids!

Great pics! Looks like you had a great time, and what a gorgeous setting. How does a pet cooler collar work? It sounds interesting.

Wow Par, that looks beautiful! Looks like paradise to me! I know the comments about Oz had to have been aggravating though, and I'm sure you missed Murph and Gull a lot too so it probably felt great to get back home. Oz is so very handsome and it looks like he really enjoyed himself. Glad to hear he was such a little gentleman too. I agree with you, sometimes dogs are much better behaved than kids! Thanks for sharing these, I really enjoyed them!

OZ is absolutely gorgeous. And beautiful pics. Have you ever noticed, that in some places, they say no kids/no pets. They are ranked at the same level. But, we know whose got the best manners.... Looks like you had a wonderful time, except for not learning the breathing command...

Wonderful pictures - what a beautiful place to relax! That Oz is just stunning - love his big baby blues! Fun stories about him & your nephews, too. I'll bet they were glad he was along! Nothing like kids and dogs

    thanks y'all!

hi wolflady! Enchanted Rock is in Fredericksberg and Pedranales is in Johnson City. Both of which are right outside of Austin. I'd love to move there someday. It's just gorgeous. I've had several people tell me how ugly Texas is and I have to think they're just not going to the right places. The Hill Country and the Big Bend area of Texas are incredibly gorgeous.

hola k9soul! I truly didn't get too aggravated. My sister's expecting perfection and as far as I was concerned Oz did great. Oz actually got a really high compliment, from my Aunt and Uncle, who drove down one day to visit. They're country folks, with a lil' farm and they're into hunting, so they believe the only dog worth having is a Lab. My Uncle came up to me and told me what a great dog Oz was. After I picked my jaw up off the floor, I'm sure I must have been beaming. Gotta love that Oz man.

Oops almost missed your question wolfsoul. You wet down the collar and it's suppose to stay wet and cool around their neck. I don't know if I did something wrong, but it didn't seem to work any better then a wet bandana. It's suppose to stay wet longer, but I didn't notice that it did.

Oh Par, I totally enjoyed every picture!!!! Regardless of your sister's comments and your nephews' behavior, it certainly seems as if it was a great trip for you and Oz! GOOD BOY, OZ!!!

Sounds like a great vacation. Oz is a handsome boy and so well-behaved it sounds like. Even though your sister didn't want him to breathe he still was nice to everyone. Loved the pics.
