Looking at Birdie now you never would have know just how bad of shape he was in before being rescued. It is wonderful to see him looking so happy and healthy.

I know how tough it was to open the early Birdie threads. And then when he lost his fur because he couldn't clean himself properly. And all the worries whether he would be able to use his tongue.......

And now! What a change! What a happy, healthy and handsome guy!

Jan and Carla, this must make you happy to see that not all of your labour is lost

Birdie sure is one of those unforgetable miracle kitties! To have him here on death's doorstep, and see him now is so uplifting. He was so anemic, there wasn't a hint of pink on his nose, paw pads, gums, or tongue (which I was soooo afraid would never work again) and he's so PINK and clean now. Carla...blow him an air kiss for me please. He is really sturdy and stocky looking now, handsome Birdie Boy!

Carla!!! That's unforgivable to forget Birdie's Birthday! Like we ever knew it to begin with lol! But I'm sure you'll be forgiven if you give Birdie his own nip party!

I hadn't known about Birdie Boy's past but he sure looks great now! What a handsome kitty. It's so great to see the changes some love can make, just by the pictures.

Look at that sweet Birdie! His story is one I won't ever forget!! That little fella tore my heart out when Jan first got him. I have to say that I had my doubts that he would still be with us today but I should have known better. With Jan nursing and PT praying that little guy sure has become one handsome and adorable hunk of kitty!
Jan got him over the horrible beginning but thanks to you Carla and the wonderful home you gave him he is now thriving! He looks fantastic! I love the picture of him snuggling with Roscoe. What a wonderful life he has now!!!

Carla, I finally got on a computer where I can see the pictures of him now and they took my breath away! He is STUNNING!! I worried about him, cried for him, prayed for him and took his pitiful picture to the boat with me and put it where I would remember to pray for him every day and even had someone updating me on the boat. I worried myself to death over that boy.... A Honey, LOOK AT HIM NOW!! !!!!!

Jan, this only enforces what you do, the lengths you go to for these poor helpless babies and the magic you work with them. Seeing pictures of him now has to be just a hudge thrill for you because it is for me and all I did was worry and pray for him.. GREAT JOB!

Carla, you added the icing on the cake by taking him into your catfamily and giving him the life he deserves after all he has been through.
