    (If you have a very big objection to synthetics, don't read this.)

    There's a stuff called Tree Guard. It's a latex emulsion, which dries clear on the leaves. It has a trace of a harmless, but VERY bitter compound in it. The stuff WORKS! I was weeding, and there was a hosta with one tiny nibble out of it; a load of deer scat right next to it. I think the deer took one bite and went YUCK!! Don't put it on your veggies though!

    Poor thing, that has to be frustrating, Debbie!

    My parents had a problem with bunnies until the got some dark green fencing (blends in) around their gates. Now they only have problems up front.

    Hope you can find something at Home Depot this weekend.
