Your Sammy does look a lot like my Samantha.
I love black and white kitties especially ones with black noses.
I also love your cat's nickname because I sometimes call my cat Sammy Whammy or Samma Lama Ding Dong.
How old is your Sammy cat? My Samantha is going to be 17 years old next month.
Have you posted more photos of your cats, I would love to see and hear more about them.

Hi Samantha's mom- thank you!
Sammy Bo is 4 or so and so is Heidi Ann. They both came from the local HS where they spent together over 1 year. They came into our lives a year ago.
Sammy has a birth defect, his back left leg is shorter and he has herpes in his eyes. Heidi Ann has asthma, so we fuss and worry about them a lot. Sammy was probbaly abandoned and on his own for a while, which must have been terrifying since he had to defend himself and animlas must have sensed his weakness. He was in a very bad shape when the shelter found him, dirty, skinny, untrusting- sptiitng and hissing at everybody. The shelter did a great job at socializing him- he does not have a mean bone in his body, he is soooo gentle.
Heidi was abandoned at the shelter by her previous humans, she is a princess and she runs the house. She was the favorite of shelter PR director!
We adore them both more than words can say!
My husband and I fell in love with this site, wiht the kindness of people and everybody's knowledge and love for kitties!!!

ChrisH, I have taken a few new photos of Samantha, I just won't have enough time to post them for a while.
I'm waiting for a nice sunny day to get a few photos of her outside where I don't need to use the flash.

Barbara, I would love to take some new photos of the kitties at Camp Vermont, but the next few weeks are really busy for me.
Hopefully Sallyanne and I can get together sometime before summer.

Shais Mom, I forgot to say what kind of camera I got!
It's a Canon Powershot SD200.
It is so cool because it is only as big as a deck of cards.
The main reason I got it is to get concert photos of U2 when I see them in Boston in a couple of weeks.
It will also be easy to pack along when I go horseback riding, visit my local shelter and go to Pet Talk meetings.
