I don't know why I never thought of it before but I started using the squirt bottle when I come in the door and she meets me. DUH! Sometimes you just don't see what is right in front of your face!
She is pretty leery of the door now, staying on top of the dog crate or the dryer.
I tried using a leash on her and she freaked so I think she will just stay inside and not go out AT ALL, not even on a leash. Its better for her.
