    Ok. Off my soap box (for now). It just bothers me to see anyone choosing a pet based on it being "cheap and easy."

    I have to caution you...getting A finch is not good...finches are intensely communal, so I would highly recommend getting finchES.

    i already know that and would be getting2-3 finches.

    don't be upset. i know how much it costs to own fish. i've had them before. compaired to other pets fish are cheaper and easier to care for. i didn't want to say "i want a new pet. anything will do." because not anything will be good.
