I'd like to help you out, but we're already at our dust mite limit.

I'm SOOOO glad I just got that dry cleaning coupon for comforters in the mail today.

I"ll trade you for my mosquitos. I'm not allergic to dust mites but the mosquitos bite the heck out of me. If you would just stop shedding your skin they would die of hunger.

I've put a plastic cover on my mattress cause my hubby is allergic. Wash your covers once a week and clean your pillows in the machine but somethimes they fall apart. Your choice. I haved two 50 dollars pillows (I know, what was I thinking) and I won't throw them into the machine. But dust mites dont bother me just my hubby and he wears Breath Right everynight. So I'll take them if you will take the mosquitos.

I would be happy to take them but the airlines don't accept them in the cabin and I could never stand if they were transported in the freight room where it is MUCH too cold for them.

Don't you have a no-kill-shelter in your area where they could help to find them new homes?

Well in Wisconsin we have to get a permit to have so many pets, and I currently am at my dust mite limit. I am also allergic and am looking for homes for my little ones, but I'd be glad to mention yours when I come across a potential adopter.

Debbie, I'd sure love to help you, but I can't imagine how we've work out the logistics and the transport would be a nightmare! Guess I'll have to just love the ones I already have.... now I'm off to wash my own comforter.

It is the least you can do, after all, dust mites don't travel well.
You're absolutely right, Jen. How could I even think of getting rid of them! I feel so awful. These little buggers are my responsiblity and I will just have to accept that fact....especially since I couldn't find a no-kill dust mite rescue anywhere near me.

I've had the plastic cover thingys on my mattress, box spring and pillows for years now. I just didn't know the comforter was as big of a problem as it is! I've really felt wonderful since I got it cleaned. I know, I know, how could I feel wonderful knowing all those poor buggers died....but I do! I'm so ashamed.

I am now going to devote all my extra time to researching spaying and neutering of dust mites. I will take responsibility for those I have, but I really don't want anymore - thank you very much!
