    Oh, Duke! Happy birthday, puppy boy! We all love you, most of all because you are such a handsome guy that makes Val sooooo happy! That you accepted Doogie into your home so graciously is just another indicator of the true gentleman you are. Hope you have a happy, happy rolling in the mud (sorry Val, it is mud season up here!) or playing in the surf sort of day! And lots of treats, and a great BIG hug from all of Pet Talk, too!

    Dearest Duke, oh did your Momma's tribute bring tears to my eyes. There's never been any doubt what a most beloved, most special and soulful companion of a lifetime you are. God must have had a hand in things that day you came home with your mom. He knew she'd need a special angel to get her through some very rough and trying times, to help her remember that true, unconditional love survives in this sometimes cold and cruel world.
