wow, what a balcony you have!! I definitely would sleep on that balcony, watching stars... (were there??) -- glad you got there and back safe and sound -- really nice and rare to have WHOLE (pets too!) family going on a trip! my mind's drooling now

No, we couldn't see any stars..

But, we saw pretty cool things on "the ground"! Did anyone notice the patterns in the tiles here: there are shrimp, crab, fish, sea-horses, etc...

We drove about 1 hour eastwards, to the Belgian coast. We have the North See here! Our village were we stayed was "Wenduine", which is 15 km NE of Ostend.
