I really wanted to go there when we were in Vegas last week, but I couldn't talk hubby into going. He was afraid of the menu. I got a picture of the outside of the restaurant, though.

OMG!!!!! That is sooooooo true! I just went there for the first time 3 weeks ago. Both my boyfriend and I couldn't believe how GOOD all their food was, especially the ribs. AHHHH, it was GOOOD! I didn't even know they were outside of Texas too.. cool.

Afraid of the menu? Why? I can understand being afraid of eating too much (always do!), or spending too much (but hey, it isn't somewhere you can go everyday), but have no fear of the food!!!

These are from The Tchoup Chop in Orlando

    Shrimp Toast

    Shrimp and Crab Wellington

    Ribeye steak

    Filet minion

    Pineapple Upsidedown cake

I had prepared him for the cost, so that wasn't a big deal. We got up to the front of the restaurant and he couldnt recognize half of what was on the menu, so we had to leave.

We ended up eating at the Rainforest Cafe, so it was ok, I guess. I mean where else can you eat with an elephant standing next to you.

I couldn't get him to go into Bobby Flay's restaurant (Mesa Grill) either...for the same reason.

I think the best restaurant in the world (in my opinion) is in a little town called Dundurn not far out of Saskatoon. It is a South African restaurant, and if you want to try it, be prepared: Supper is a five hour ordeal (no kidding). If you pick the one thing on the menu, you get a pick of three different appies, two main courses and three desserts, as well as soup and salad, all brought seperately with enought time between each for lots of conversation (and wine!). Awesome, awesome place!
