Gosh, so many jobs already taken - can I be the mayor?I'd have assistants to help me interview any people who wanted to move to town, just to make sure they were extra pet-friendly!

Karen, you have my vote!
For me any job will do, it will always be better and more rewarading than the one I have now. The only thing is that I want to distribute lots and lots and lots of hugs and kisses to all pets. Anyway with so many doggies (and cats and...) there will be a lot to do for everyone.
Here's my vote for Karen for Mayor!
How about "This Old Kitty Palace" Segments on reupholstering your furniture could be shown.
I would be pretty happy doing just about anything having to do with the cats and the dogs too.
Can you imagine going to work everyday? Everyone would be in such a great mood being around all of that tail wagging, and purring.

I'll be the activities director. I'll be in charge of all of the agility, lure coursing, herding, tracking, and obedience classes/competitions!
I'll be the secretary, answering phones, taking notes, setting up interviews, et cetera.
It should be one grand town. Who will run the Pets Allowed Hotel? And don't think we will need a dog/cat catcher!
Now, where will we build this town?

Since I am an urban planner in real life, I would be a planner for the town. I would make sure that there were plenty of parks, ponds, and wide open spaces for dogs and cats to run and play in. I would also make sure that there would be an area for the latest pet gourmet cafes. Of course, we would have to plan for pet friendly homes, vets, PetsMarts, etc.....
Ok, Pettalkers, we need some more people! How about an art gallery or a nature museum? Maybe a gourmet restaurant, where you can check your pet instead of your coat. They can frollick and have tasty treats while you enjoy a break from being on-duty (even beloved pets shouldn't go along on EVERY date night!)
Oh, we need some bank tellers that give out treats to the 4-legged customers! And a memorial park to remember our lost animal friends.
Don't forget we need a pet matchmaker and a pet psychic too!

I would like to ask the "Mayor" and the City Planner a question....
Can we make this town where there are no cars??? I don't want us to risk having any of them hit. In our "perfect" town, they should be able to have some freedom.
I Love this!!!!![]()
we'd need a hill so someone can be the cat lady at the top of the hill.
Cinder and Smoke can talk their phred into being the fire chief.
I suggest this town be in Southern California, this way the people and animals who love snow can drive about a couple of hours away and be in the snow, the people and animals who like the dry heat can drive a couple of hours away and be in the desert.
Any other suggestions for location?

Southern Cali is a good idea. Or maybe an island? Everything could be in walking distance. I think the no car policy is a good idea!
