Whats Your Fav Dog Breed?

OH and another fav of mine is a cocker spaniel and a brittany spaniel (The brittany is the kind of dog i use to have)

You should definitely do a "search" on favorite breeds! We've answered this question over and over. But I never tire of it! LOL!

My favorites are Golden Retrievers, of course! But my "dream dog" is an English Bulldog. One day.......

This week I would say - a plain mix breed. I guess I like most breeds.

I've never answered this because I can't narrow it down to just one! I'll start by saying I love ALL DOGS! Every breed has its angels and its terrors! But, there are some breeds that are more near and dear to my heart, for a variety of reasons - I'll just list them, in no particular order:

- Greyhound
- Mutt
- Irish Wolfhound
- Cocker Spaniel
- Borzoi
- Azawakhs (and other rare sighthounds including Sloughi, Galgos Espagnol, Rampur Hounds and Chart Polski)
- German Shepherd Dogs
- Whippet
- West Highland White Terrier
- Weimeriner (sp?)

There, that's ten!

You asked, so I shall provide! These are all variations of the AKC-recognized greyhound that is common in the US. The Azawakh is an African greyhound, the Sloughi is a north african/arabian greyhound, the Chart Polski is a Polish greyhound, the Galgos is a Spanish greyhound, the Rampur Hound is an Indian greyhound. (Kind of how the Borzoi is sometimes referred to as the 'Russian wolfhound/greyhound). Most of these dogs have minor variations in appearance from the 'common' greyhound. They are rare breeds and probably cost alot of money, and would have to be shipped (possibly overseas)! I have never met any of them in reality, but I love the greyhound basic temperment, and I like seeing the little differences ! I've attached some links and an Azawakh pic (my husband thinks they look like a greyhound body with a beagle face???!!!)

also.... GSD, Rotties, Dobermans , and well.. ive never said this.. but i do have a spot in there for Greyhounds i melt when i see them at the shelter.. and theirs alot there


thats one that always sticks out when i pass by, hes gentle and sweet and has beauty and grace. Hes a spin dog so has been there over 4 months. His name is Romeo.
