Yeah, it's pretty special. Stonehenge is ten minutes down the road and is truly awesome!

Well, it's happened.....a house around the corner has their Christmas decorations up and we have received our first Christmas card! So, for once, I will be the first to wish every one of you a happy, peaceful, safe and joyous Christmas and all that you wish for yourselves and your loved ones in the New Year!!!!!

"Jingle bells, jingle bells, jingles all the way......" Ahhhhhh! Christmas shopping! Star, Cody and the kittys are already preparing their lists! We're going for our picture with Santa this Sat. God give me strength! Star, are you listening......? Star....?Star.....? Better go, I think she's in the fridge.

You all are just the best. I am very thankful for each and every one of you and treasure you dearly. My husband and I have been talking about where we should live when we retire. He wants to go somewhere warm. I have this fantasy that there could be a SunCity type of place for all us dog nuts and cat nuts. Dog parks would be the norm instead of a rarity. We could go on vacations because the rest would gladly pitch in and take care of our furbabies. Where when we got too old and dithering to take care of furbabies, the others would find homes for our dearest. Where there would be a big rescue and shelter organization where we could spend our volunteer time. And if we had to go into a nursing home, well, you know the place would be crawling with dogs and cats, so we never had to be without their company.

    Rachel,
I just love you! I agree with everything you say and you say it just right! (Much better than I every could)
You and your husband are welcome in Greenville anytime! We've got mountains and beaches nearby. You've got the best of both worlds. If you ever find that "Sun City" type of environment where we can retire with our pets, I want to buy a place, NOW!!!
