    Welcome Leah! Jan here from Mass. and I do extensive rescuing mostly of cats & kittens, but also any other creature in need, be it dog, bird etc. I had a Border collie (rescued back in 1977 with her 6 female pups) for 15 years, and she was the most brilliant dog we've ever had. Now we have a mix of everything..cats, kittens, dogs, an iguana, turtles,birds.. (and all rescued ). You'll love it here.

    How did I miss this thread? I'm a bt late, but WELCOME to PT.

    I also am a step mom of three teenagers. I have 4 cats, plus the occasional foster cat. I also have one very large dog who is happy to let the cats rule.
