The cracker box was adorable.....I loved "stressed out"...."had to move my leg" but I guess the biggest laugh was the embarrassed one

Cracker Jack, you are well named!!!! Such a little doll - Each successive photo seems to show you off even better than the last. Love you cuddling with meowmie, snuggling up in front of the fire, posing with the Cracker Jack box but I think I'm really partial to the one of you lounging on the red and white striped afghan. You look so much AT HOME. Congrats to you , dear boy. You definitely chose a wonderful family to commandeer!

P.S. - Is that an old box of Cracker Jack? It looks kinda....vintage.

BTW, you still get your Cracker Jack in a box? We get ours in a zip lock bag where we are in Ontario and it's been a long time since I've seen it in a box.
I haven't weighed him, but I do believe he has gained a little weight since he's been here, which is a good thing. He started out at about 9 lbs when he was brought to the shelter, and he had lost over 1 lb by the time I brought him home a little more than a month later. For a 9 lb cat, 1 lb is a lot in a month! I think he is slowly but surely filling out, but he will never be a big cat. He is fine boned.

As for the Cracker Jack box, Terry had stopped at a Cracker Barrel store/restaurant and they have the "vintage" boxes of Cracker Jack. I believe the regular ones you get in the grocery store are in bags, but it's been soooo long since I had Cracker Jack. I wonder if this "vintage" box has a prize in it. It doesn't really say and I hate to open it to find out.

Thanks so much everyone. He has really made himself to home, and he and Peanut are getting along great. He's snuggling with his daddy right now while Peanut is under her heat lamp.

CJ is so adorable and I'm so glad that he's getting along well with Peanut too. I think he's finally settled into his new loving forever home.

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!
