Just googled a bit and discovered that CarmelDeLights and Samoas are one and the same!
The mystery is finally solved! A while back my old roommate and I got into an argument because she told me they were called Carmel Delights, and I said I was a girl scout many years ago and they've always been called Samoas. We each claimed that the other had no idea what they were talking about. It turns out we were both right!
    I've been Defrosted!

Thanks for the great signature Kay!

I absolutley HATE thin mints! I don't see why eveyone loves them! I love slightly frozen carmel delights! My sister is a girl scout and my mom does the cookies, so every year we have a whole buncha cookies at our house!

Definitely Thin Mints (they're best right out of the freezer) and Peanut Butter Patties! My bf ordered some a few months back...I wonder when we'll get them! Yum! Samoas are very good too.

I was a Girl Scout for the longest time. We used to buy the cookies like by the case and keep them in our deep freezer, we had Girl Scout cookies all year long, until I quit.

The thing about Girl Scout cookies is they are so smart to only sell them once a year. People wouldn't buy as many if they knew they could get them anytime.

Cookiebaker, we pick up our cookies this Saturday so you can have yours as early as Saturday afternoon if you like.
Thin Mints were the most popular for my daughter to sell, she sold twice as many Thin Mints as any other flavors.
Her troop did a poll and most adults prefer the Thin Mints but the kids like Peanut Butter better.
For those of you who missed pre-ordering cookies in January, the Girl Scouts usually do Cookie Shops at local stores the first weekend in March so you can pick some up then.

You can see the different kinds of cookies here.

Iced Berry Pinatas are my favorite! I had them for the first time last year. Caramel DeLites are a a close second. Justin likes thin mints the best, but I'm not a big fan of them.
Justin is such a sucker for a Girl Scout. Whenever he sees a stand or a girl scout comes up to him he can NEVER turn them down. When we were at Mardi Paws with Kay a girl scout was sell cookies, Justin scrounged for the exact change to buy some.

I remember when Burry's Bakery used to make Girl Scout cookies! My fave is the Thin Mints, which I think has some contraband baked into it.
