. I tried to get the lighting so that it shows her colors accurately, since the flash really makes them look washed out.
Logan, actually Dawn is mute, and can only make a whispered noise. She still does cheep in her own way but you cannot hear it unless you are close to her and it sounds like a whisper with no tone. She has been that way since I got her. She does her whisper cheeps off and on, usually first thing in the morning when she sees me, or when she wants something like to come out of her cage or to have what I'm eating. She will also do it when being talked to or whistled at. But otherwise she is pretty laid back/quiet.
It's funny you mention my hands, I remember a couple people telling me when I was a child that I had a "piano player's" hands. I'm not sure EXACTLY what that means but it seemed like a compliment and I do love music. I never got to learn the piano, but who knows, maybe someday!
