usually around three days after birth they will get some peach fuzz and you can make out the markings of each pup...
at about a week they will start to crawl around blind and deaf, you will see their tru marking then. their fur will be darker...

after about 2 weeks they open their eyes and ears and then become little hyper mice running around haha

Pups are baby hamsters. Kits/Kittens are baby mice and rats.

Actually rat babies are called pups. Though some people prefer to call them kittens.
