Everyone's pictures are great.
My favorite scenic place will always be one of these two places.
Stick me near a water fall or in shaded woods and I'm happy happy. I miss those yearly trip to the house in N.C., just to see this kind of stuff. Something Florida will never have.

Then there this.........LOVE peacocks.

Stick the waterfall in the woods with Peacocks around it and I'd never leave.
I think there is beauty to be found in any nature pic, even if it's not as exotic as you might like! For example, I think even something simple like moss growing on a park bench can be gorgeous! Which brings to mind another favorite photo of mine that I had forgotten about! I called this one "Beauty in Simplicity"Originally posted by GoldenRetrLuver
Ahh.. mine look horrible compared to all of the ones posted lol.
We don't have the nice scenery over here like you guys have.![]()

I am truly enjoying everyone's beautiful picsPlease feel free to share yours even if you don't feel they are as 'scenic.'

Here are some of the Great Smoky Mountains in the fall of 2003.
This was the Carolina Wren's nest and babies in my hybiscus plant last summer.
I had aspargus fern growing in the pot so it made a perfect hiding spot.

I have seen some really pretty stuff here! I apologise because I didn't realise I had this many favorites. There's still one I can't find. It's of our old courthouse. Was taken on a clear blue day. The dome is silver and it's shining in the sun. I've hunted for about 30 minutes and can't find it. I made a favorites folder and if I ever find it, I'll put it in there.
This tree is on a busy interstate. There is a group of three of them. The last time I was on the way to Kay's, I just decided I was going to stop and get them because it was driving me crazy to pass them by and not take some pics. They look so cool
This is one of my most favorite ones right now. Took it as I was leaving the dog beach.
View from one of the trees in my yard. See why I get so nervous when it's hurrican season? Our house is surrounded by huge trees.

I did the right thing by setting you free
But the pain is very deep.
If only I could turn back time, forever, you I'd keep.
I miss you
I hear you whimper in your sleep
I gently pet you and say, no bad dreams
It will be alright, to my dog as dark as night.
Fur as dark as the night.
Join me on this flight.
Paws of love that follow me.
In my heart you'll forever be.

How I wish I could hold you near.
Turn back time to make it so.
Hug you close and never let go.

Sunsets are one of my favorite things to appreciate. This one was so pretty that I had to turn around, find a place to park and then walk to the boat ramp.
