I have the fresh flow and the E's like it. I just moved it this week. Eddie is a very sloppy eater and his kibbles get n the water....making it dirty faster. So I move the water further from the food. There are still kibbles ALL over...but not in the water!

    What a slob!

My cats used to have a Petmate Fresh-Flow fountain too. They both LOVED it, and Maya even drank from the "waterfall"!!
It didn't last very long . Few months later, the motor started to make strange noises, so I had to get rid of it

I have had a FreshFlow for over a year and my guys love it. Unfortunately mine like to play in the water, so I have put a mat under it so there are no marks from the water and it also helps dampen the motor sound. The mats are available at Walmart for about $5 so it was definitely worth it for me.

Ah! PetMate Fresh Flow - I don't know how we would do without it now that we have it!! I bought mine either off eBay or Amazon and it was used. This guy bought it and his kitty didn't like it so he packed it up. It appeared to be brand new, though. It is the "Deluxe" which I think just means it holds more water. The flow is adjustable and that might be a deluxe thing - not sure.

At first everyone *did* play in it but only a short time. Dylan likes to drink from his paws so sometimes there is a mess but no more than the water bowls.

With the five kittties, I have to really clean it out well everyweek and I use an old toothbrush at the grungy areas - like at the top of the ramp where the water comes out, then buff it all off with a dry towel & refill.

The motor is simalar to what is on a very small aquarium - for sound comparison. I don't even notice it except - like someone said - the water kinda gurgles if the level gets low.

Mine seem to drink TONS of water but I also think alot does into the air because I fill it up a nearly everyday and I KNOW they never drank nearly that much water before..or maybe it is just the fact that it is cold and clear and fresh?

Do any of you have pictures of it? Fresh Flow sounds like the best - from what you all say.

Tenna, where did you get yours, and how much does it cost?

I'm sure Fister would love one!

My cats Snowball and Rocky use a Petmate Deluxe Fresh Flow Fountain and they love it. It seems to encourage them to drink more which is important. The company has a website at www.petmate.com and the fountain is at http://www.petmate.com/Catalog.plx?Page=PR&RID=3

Also, parts are available, such as the pump, in case it needs replacing.

I also wanted to add that customer service was wonderful!! When I first bought my *used* fountain - the seller forgot to pack the piece of wire that goes to the electric plug and adaptor. I called the company, explained it was used....they sent me a whole new pump AND adaptor!!

The seller sent me the missing part, so I now how a whole extra ectric pum system - if this one conks out

Thanks for the picture. Hope they're not too noisy.

At petsmart (website and stores) I believe they have the fresh flow for 19.99 also. I am going to check it out tomorrow.

I have a question about that fountain: I know my cats ALWAYS get fur in their regular water bowls...does this fresh flow filter all those out?

in fact, I JUST ordered it from PETsMart.com...19.99 plus tax = 21.24, free shipping! of course I could have just gone to the store, but it's a long drive from me! I'll give a "testimonial" when it comes!
