sas, I called up about the vinyl collar and it turns out they are just about to get stocks in of the Trimline collar!! They are on the holiday break until Tuesday so I will call back then.

Talking of collars.. Ebbs has figured out how to get and lick her owie even with the bigger cone on!! I was so mad! When I calmed down I figured as long as she wasn't able to chew on it I would leave the collar on. I called up the vets but all they could say was if it wasn't healing by then to bring her in when they re-open after the holiday, which will be Tuesday.

The chemist that I called at didn't have any benedine but they did carry Savlon as a blue antiseptic liquid wash so I got that. After I used it I applied some savlon ointment thinking it would help it heal, that's when I caught her licking her tail, trying to get it all off I guess.

I m so tired, I didn't sleep much last night because I was listening out for her (I crated Bob for the night). One time I heard her bumping about downtairs and had to go down and help her find her way back upstairs. Then I got up a couple of times to see she was ok, which she was. She was so loving this morning, she came in my bedroom and jumped on the bed just as I was putting on my dressing gown and proceeded to purr and try and headbumpie me a good morning.

Well, it's around 20 minute to 2005 here in the UK so I will finish by wishing you all ...

Happy New Year, Chris!! Greetings to Bob and Ebby too. How sweet of Ebby, trying to give you headbumpies with her horrid big cone! How frustrating that she can still reach her tail! Guess all you can do is monitor her and try to keep her away from it as much as possible. Good luck!
