Hubby and I will celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary on the 30th of December!! Today is actually his 54th birthday and we will go out to eat with Bryan, Chris (chrangharris), Misha and Carol(persianmom) in just awhile. Hubby has planned a getway for us!! But, before we leave, I wanted to post some pictures that he has taken - of us "back then". We met in the summer of 1970 when I was 15 and he was 19. He was in the AF and of course I lived with my parents. We were married in 1974, right before I graduated from college.
Here we are in the summer we met, 1970..I turned 16 in September.
1971...matching shirts were the thing! He was about to leave for Vietnam and was gone all of 1972...I graduated HS, went off to college and turned 18 while he was gone.
1973...
about to be married...1974. I was 20 years old, and graduated college May of 1975.
recent....2002...I would be 47 or 48 here
2003...age 48 or 49
October 2004..just turned 50!!
