Thanks everyone!

I just got home and left him with a caretaker. He is doing very well. It was even easier and quicker than I had heard. Our only problem now is keeping his finger out of his eye. He wants to scratch and rub it. Luckily he is wearing a patch today and won't take it off until we see the doctor tomorrow but it will be a battle after that.

I think a nap is now calling my name.

Just saw this Lori. I'm glad your Dad did well. Give hime a hug for me! I miss hugging a Daddy. My dad would be turning 82 this month. Can I share yours?

Wow Micki, that is kind of wild. We are both the same age and our birthdays are three days apart and I now I find out your father had you late in life too. What else do we have in common?? I hear Twilight Zone music.

Yes, of course I'd share my Daddy with you. I know I'm thankful to still have him around to hug and I'll be sure to deliver all those hugs for him, he'll appreciate it.
