Karen, creamo is a thicker version of milk and with a higher fat content. Sometimes going under the name of 1/2 & 1/2, it's used in coffee and tea mostly. It's found in the dairy section and is slightly thinner than the whipping cream in the carton.

Thank, you! Go on then, I'll have one with my coffee - A baileys that is, not a creamo!

    DONE!
Purrsonally, I don't like Baileys...it's too sweet for my liking. On a cold morning I'm told that 1/2 c hot coffee and 1/2 c Baileys works wonders.

    1 mickey Rye
1 large (1 litre) whipping cream
    1 small (1 pint) 1/2 & 1/2 or creamo
    2 eggs
    4 tblsp. chocolate syrup
    1 1/2 tsp. coconut extract
    2 tblsp. instant coffee
1 can Borden's sweetened condensed milk

This recipe may be doubled or tripled depending on the size of the bowl and the amount of consumption.......And of course, the amount of Rye may vary depending on taste......I always put a little extra in........

Makes three 26-oz bottles. Because it's made with dairy products, it only lasts about 3 weeks in the fridge. Unfortunately, it will have to be used up in that time........

    Now as for the conversions:
1 mickey of Rye is comparable to a "fifth"
    1 liter = 33.8140226 ounce [US, liquid]
    1 liter = 35.1950797 ounce [UK, liquid]
1 pint [UK] = 20 ounce [UK, liquid]
1 pint [US, liquid] = 16 ounce [US, liquid]
YUM! Thanks for this slick...I think I will be whipping this up for the holidays this year! I'll even put a label on it: Slick's Irish Cream!

    Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!
I'll be heading down to LA to spend Thanksgiving with my uncle's family (actually Simi Valley...but it's not too far from LA) like we usually do. Have a safe and fun holiday everyone!

    **hugs**

    Hi, everyone!
Oh, what's cooking? It sure smells great in here. Be sure to keep the door to the L&F closed. Don't want to ruin the atmosphere!

Could I have some hot cider and 4 catnip teas for the kids?
Oh, and how about a big slice of pumpkin pie?

Would you like fries with that???

Hi Connie, make yourself comfy by the fire and I'll bring over your order. The pies are in the oven.

Oh, Connie you were reading my mind! (very light reading) A big piece of pumpkin pie for me, too. May I also have a big cup of coffee and two catnip teas for my two sleeping beauties?

    Hi, Wolflady & David!

Everyone, try to keet the whipped cream away from Mario!
He made one big mess last week!

Maybe we can distract him with some cherries or blueberries?
Of course, he's been known to make a mess with those too.
