Watching the election on Japanese TV is the best. I can only understand a fraction of what the talking heads are blah blah blahing about, but they have the same real time graphics as the American News Channels...
kind of a pointless comment, but I hate the speculating talking heads

    I'll bet that is funny!

I think everyone will agree . . . let's hope that there's a clear cut winner TONIGHT and not drag this out for weeks & months!

Looking good for Bush so far though

Someone just commented on ABC (I forget who) that no matter who wins there will be some very angry people tomorrow. Can't say I disagree with that. (Keep those red states coming!)

Oh, you know there will be! There's already been so much anger out of both sides.

Boy, I can't wait to get up in the morning, pour my first cup of coffee, and turn on the TV.

I wasn't fast enough to get all the states written down but Peter Jennings just said that in the following states, polls are closed but it is too close to call yet.

    Colorado
    Florida
    Wisconsin
    Minnesota
    Ohio

and a few more that I can't remember.

Definitely a nail biter and definitely angry people tomorrow.

I'd like to know how they can "call" states and project a winner when only 1% of the precincts are reporting and one candidate's only 1-2 percentage points above the other.

Everyone needs to remember to take everything the news channels are saying/projecting/estimating with a teeny, tiny grain of salt. Let's not forget 4 years ago when they all projected, changed their minds and projected something else, changed their minds, said it was too close to call, changed their minds... etc. - remember?

That said, I am liking the ratio of red states to blue and I hope that Bush wins the big ones like Ohio and Florida. I don't want Skerry in the White House.

I'd rather it last for weeks than have Bush win.
