Lisa, I can relate to not being to get on the computer while at work. They are keeping track of us too...so I too have had to lurk for a while....now onto Magoo.

Mr. Magoo, you are just the most darling baby in the world. Did you meowmie tell you that on Saturday your Godchildren will be arriving in Connecticut? Thanks to you I am going to be taking care of two very special little ones just like you!!!! Thanks Magoo for showing all of us just how special you are. --- Love Catlover

Goo - I love that name! He is so cute with Abigail. By the way, Sasha is small too and she's a year and a half - I'm so glad that she stayed small because it's like having a forever kitten! I don't think she weighs more than 6 lbs.

Lisa, I have missed you but I certainly understand your concerns with too much PT time while at work! We wouldn't want to jeopardize your job!!!

Magoo and Abigail are toooooooo precious together, and the size difference just makes it so much more adorable!

I did notice his eye ... poor baby , but boy does it make a difference once it is drained!!! After the first of the year, and Kurby's surgery, I say we start a Magoo eye fund!!!

Kim, I was HOPING somebody would mention a Magoo fund!! I think we need to get it started asap! I, for one would LOVE to help our (MY) Magooster with this surgery!! We ALL love that guy and the surgery is far away enough that we all can work it in between now and then if Lisa would go on and get it set up with the vets office...LISA?? (cough, cough, how about it?)

You guys are so sweet! I try to tell Magoo all the time how many people love him and I hope in my heart that he somehow understands. He really is an amazing old street cat that has adjusted so well at an older age. he still blows my mind and he has certainly stolen my heart along with a lot of others!

I can not tell you how much I appreciate the offer to start a fund for Magoo's surgery. I am going to decline this time because I may really need you guys to help me some time in the future. This is only going to cost $125 to $150. That is a lot of money but not as bad as so many others here have to deal with.
The reason I am waiting until next year is partially due to finances but I also have another reason. I know this would sound silly to most but on PT it will be understood. On the very far off chance that something were to go wrong during Magoo's surgery I don't want it to be around the holidays. I would be devestated!!! I know you all will understand this. Goo is one tough cookie but anytime they go under there is a risk. He is older and it won't be as easy on him as some of the younger kitties. I know in my heart that it would take a lot more than this to bring down this tough old bird but I just don't want to risk it during the holiday season. Does that make sense?
I hope you all understand and I can not thank you enough for even thinking to offer the help. I love you for it and I appreciate it more than any of you can ever know!!

    I love you guys!!!!

Thank you Carla! That is so sweet of you!

Magoo is estimated to be around 7 years old. I guess we are getting closer to 8 now! He's getting close to middle age! I guess the thing for me is no one really knows how old he is. He could be younger or older. His teeth are why the estimate him at that age.

I thought you were going to have the surgery AFTER the new year... That is why I said there is enough time for everyone to work it in...But if that is all it is..... Well, I STILL will want to chip in anyway... I LOVE that boy sooooooo much! I don't think there has ever been a cat that has taught so many, SO much as our Magooster.
