*update* Lacey is doing well and adjusting to the misery of not running loose She walks on the leg and it's like it's a little slower than the other ones. We will continue to hold her captive . I just hope, like the vet said, it isn't really bad. Thanks for all the good wishes And Lacey says thanks too!

Oh poor, poor Lacey!! I know what you're going through. You must be heartbroken seeing Lacey not being able to run and play like she used to. I hope she gets better in less than 6 months, and that she will be the same happy dog she used to be. Sending lots of hugs and kisses to Lacey, and my prayers and hopes will be with her. Buddy ( my golden) was once limping and we took him to the vet, gave him lots of rest and now he's a lot better. Good luck! Keep me updated.

*update* Lacey went back to the vet today about her leg. It hasn't changed much except that I started noticing a popping sound when she walks.Well looks like Lacey will have to have surgery. Next Thursday, the 9th. And she should be fine, a fews weeks to recouperate though. But she's been good about the downtime so hopefully things will go well. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers, I want my baby to be able to walk right again!

Oh, I'm so sorry to hear that. I hope all goes well. I know what you mean about wanting your baby to walk right again. I'm praying that when Katie has her cast removed that all is well and she is walking like she should be.

Give Lacey a hug from me. Keep us updated please.

Thanks, will keep you updated. I'll be a wreck the day of the surgery I'm sure! And she has to spend the night! Mandy will be so depressed without her! Not to mention mom and dad!

*update* Lacey came through with her surgery ok. The vet said both ligaments in her knee were bad, one completely torn. So looks like we did the right thing having the surgery. She'll come home tommorrow afternoon. Mandy is totally depressed. I'll have to really lay on the spoiling tonight but she wants her Lacey!
