Depressed Today
First of all, last night was SO stressful. We never saw Stormy so were unable to get her. We never saw any of the kittens! It appears they're doing a lot of clearing out by the woodpile etc. and I think it's scared them off. We did manage to trap Brutus, a very large tabby, but in the process he went into a seizure! It scared me to death, and on top of it he got my thumb pretty good. Now I'm afraid I'll get sick! Kevin dropped him off this morning and informed them what happened. He said they didn’t seem too concerned about it (as far as fixing him). Then I went checking all the food stations here at work and saw one of the babies we trapped dead on the side of the road. I hate all this!
Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) is a full management plan in which stray and feral cats already living outdoors in cities, towns, and rural areas are humanely trapped, then evaluated, vaccinated, and sterilized by veterinarians. Kittens and tame cats are adopted into good homes. Healthy adult cats too wild to be adopted are returned to their familiar habitat under the lifelong care of volunteers
