    Ok - question...

I've always heard moggie pronounced like "mow-gy."

Adding doggie into the name, makes me want to pronounce it "maw-gy." (To rhyme with doggie.)

Which is the correct pronounciation? lol

Kelly, are you familiar with the shops out here where you can go paint your own pottery and then have them fire it for you?

Well..........a rip off, but you could call your company

    COLLAR ME MINE!

    Zip,
Its pronounced like Doggie, just with an M. That's why we LOVE that one! I told my friend and she loves it too!

    Gini,
That is way too cute too!! I'll have to offer that one up too.

Zip I've also always pronounced it the same way as you. I also thought that Moggie was a slang term for a mixed breed cat or dog.

Thanks for the great signature Kay!

    This is what I found
Definition: Noun.Term used in Great Britain to describe a domestic non-pedigreed cat. Also used as an affectionate term for "stray" cats.

    Pronunciation: moh-gee

Also Known As: stray, alley cat

Examples: My favorite "breed" of cats is the Moggie.

so does "moh" sound like Ma or Mo?

The reason I know its maw-gee is because my friend's hubby is from Brittian. She's the one who wanted (and I of couse LOVED the idea) moggie in the name.

Sorry I wasn't around to help out with the pronunciation of "moggie". You'll need to stop having these discussions at 4 o'clock in the morning! Different time zones are so annoying.

I hope you let uus know what name you eventually go for.

No ideas, just want to wish you success in your business. Are the collars and leads your own design? I'm sorry if I missed that.
