    Whew! I was worried it was bladder stones. Schnauzers are prone to them. Glad it's just an infection.

    I'm glad it was nothing serious.

    Try to enjoy Katie as much as you can. I used to feel much the same way you do--hating watching them age, but having recently lost a very young dog, I'm learning to savor it--it brings it's own pleasures. I try not to think of it in terms of getting closer to loosing them. I'd give anything to be able to watch Hoodoo grow from a rambunctious young dog to a dignified gentleman, but I will never have that opportunity.

    Amber, I'm glad she got a good report. "Tiny" infection sounds good to me! I don't think 8 is very old at all for a Schnauzer. I'll bet your girl will be around for a long, long time!!

    And 8 isn't old at all! Cocoa's 8. I definitely wouldn't consider that old.
