    BEAUTIFUL!!! What a gorgeous, GORGEOUS bird!!! Ahhh.......I want him! Sooooo cute!!!

    You'll have to keep posting pics of him often. Can't keep that gorgeous bird hidden from us!

    Barney is gorgeous. I just love rose-breasted cockatoos, although I don't know much about them.

    Is Barney vocal?

    Oh how beautiful. I'm jealous. I have a goffin.

    Barney is a girl, not a boy. The iris in a cockatoos eye will tell you the sex of the bird... Females have a reddish brown color iris and males have a black iris. Barney's eyes are reddish brown.

    Look how similar Barney looks to my goffin, baby...

    The lady we bought her from told us the same thing, and she thought he/she was still a boy?? She had him for six years. I dont really see red in his eyes but i dont have anything to compare it too either.

    I LOVE rose breasted cockatoos!!!! We just saw one last week for a nail/wing trim and he was sooooooo sweet!! They are the perfect sized bird, not huge like an umbrella, although, I'd love one of those too.

    I'm so jealous of you! I want a "Barney"! But, with my kitties, there's just no way. The parakeets excite them enough.
