That's a pretty good idea. I remember when I was a kid I had pen pals from Jamaica and Germany and probably somewhere else (forgot though). That was before email and internet.

I think pretty much. It's to learn about different people. More than likely people with your interests/age would be on the cat side and people you socialize with all the time.

Atleast I think that's how it is/would be best.

Actually I was thinking it should be more of a "snail mail" thing. But it really doesn't matter. Just what everyone else wants to do. Some people may not want to give out there email address though.
