    WW!

You might ask him if Max would be "welcome" to visit the Farm
and check out the Foster FurPups for himself!??

Max just might be able to *pick out* his new Brudder/Sister
    all by himself!

Might work out like Smokey did with Cinder when he arrived on our
front porch - CINDER made the "choice" that Smokey was a Keeper!
    Reference "Tail":
Cinder wants to keep the Stray she "found"...

"I don't know if he has the right dog available yet,
    but I can wait!"
THAT Approach will insure that both You AND Max
will be *Happie* with a New FurPup!

That's a really neat story! I wasn't on pet talk when Cinder found Smokey, so that's the first time I heard it.

Maybe bringing Max out to the farm would be the way to go. Knowing him, though, he'd pick an unhousetrained cathating dong! hehe

    Thanks for the siggy, Lexi_Lover!

When we were looking for another dog we brought Cocoa with us.

We found another dog first, a jack russel mix and Cocoa didn't seem that thrilled to see her, but we though she was so cute we wanted her anyway. When we brought the jack home to test her out, Cocoa didn't like her at all. She was too active and off-the-walls for little Cocoa. So we brought her back to the shelter the same day and told them it didn't work out with our other dog.

We found Daphne at a different shelter - and we knew right away we made the right choice - when we brought Cocoa to the shelter to meet Daph, Daphne went down on her belly to "Cocoa" level and wanted to play, and Cocoa played back. They were best friends ever since.

So Max will let you know when he's found a keeper!
