Well, I know it but I wish my husband knew it too!
How many years are you willing to foster Barbara Ann?
I don't think there will be a spot for a new cat here for that long.![]()

Yes, you can tell! At first I thought it was just the picture, but to me Enoch looks like he's about 6 months old, not 3!Originally posted by jenluckenbach
They are 3 months old and HUGE! (for that age)

'Course what do I know about how big 3 month old kittens should be.

They are adorable and I'm sure you won't have them for long - that's the bad, but good, news.![]()

jenluckenbach - where do they come from and what are you doing to get them adopted?? Are you working with a cat rescue organization?
I'm curious, as I've been doing a lot of kitten fostering this summer for Save Our Strays in my area (Cincinnati). Seems like getting cats adopted is never very easy. Early summer, the little kittens went pretty quickly, but now there are SO MANY kittens available everywhere, that it's taking lots longer. We have cages available at PetSmart stores to display them, and we hold adoptathons every other weekend or so. What do you do??

The problems you describe are universal. My first litters this spring were adopted at lightening speed. Now the adoptions slow and the supply of kittens sky-rockets.Originally posted by Dog1,Cats2

We do many of the things you mention, adoption every other weekend, Petsmart cages and Petfinder.com website picturing them all.
As for where they come from....EVERYWHERE! More calls come into the organization every day asking us to take kittens. We can't take them all, but we take as many (if not more) than we can handle.
Ans yes, I work with an organization (named One By One) because I could not do this on my own like some people can.
.
Aww, your new babies are gorgeous!
