People disgust me...

Some teens a few years ago lit a wild lizard on fire, as a result the lizard was killed *obviously* and it started a huge fire that almost burned this town to the ground! It cost SO much money and the parents of the kids had to pay...all of the cost of fighting the fire.

The kids werent legally punished though. I bet the parents were REALLY POed...

The kids never get punished really for stuff like this. Its the parents that have to pay all the fines and stuff. I think the kids should have to do SOMETHING...

Grrrr and how in the hell did these kids get fireworks anyway. Thought you had to be over 18 to get them

I feel so sick - to be honest I couldn't read the whole article - but I read enough to make me so angry.

I heard this on our local news last night and was shocked! They said the dog with the burns around the mussel may have been trying to protect the babies. It just makes me sick. I'd like to put a lit firecracker up the behind of the ones who did this!

The words I want to use in my opinion of this disgusting event cannot be used because this is a family site.

First of all, why is it ALWAYS BOYS/MEN that abuse animal. Yes, that's right, I said BOYS/MEN!!! Very rarely do you read stories about girls or women abusing animals. It makes me sick!!!

There was an incident in CT about 3 years ago where a group of BOYS put a firecracker into a kitten's rectum and lit it. It was by the grace of God that that kitten survived. It took her over a year to trust anyone at the shelter. She finally got adopted and has a wonderful home.

I think these @#%$*& poor excuses of human beings should get a swift kick in the a$$ and a stiff jail sentence.

I cried when I heard of this. It sickens me that so many kids, or people in general, these days have no concept of the value of a life. No conscience, no sense of decency or compassion. I pray the kids that did this are caught .... however I doubt they will dealt with to the extent they need. As Moosman said , I can't say what I would really like to say due to the family nature of this board.
