I think you should get him spayed at 6 months as well. The vet and Mickey's breeder both recommended it as the best age to get it done.Hopefully something can be done for his hernia.

Max had a hernia as a puppy, as well. The vet fixed it when we had him neutered.

Now don't worry yourself. Roxey also had a hernia when she was a puppy (it was taken care of before I brought her home) and she's never had any problems. So I'm just sure Elvis will be just fine

I don't really know much about Hernia's, but from reading all the posts it sounds like he will probably be ok. His new collar is really cute!
