Did someone just say BBQ? There are some ribs in the fridge that should be marinated by now - lets slap them on the grill!

    Can I buy a square??

As usual I'm falling waaayyy behind....God I hate it when works gets in the way.

Is there a DOTD? If not, I'll take one of Richard's lime slushies. Got to get in practice for next month.

    Congrats Catland and MOFF!

    Congrats MOFF, Slick and Catland!!!

In honor of the day, I'll take a cherry limeade with a splash of Randi's rum, some catnip tea for T & P and a HUGE plate of those yummy oversized onion rings that MOFF loves so much.

Matter of fact, since Catland is buying too, I'll take two of everything! The boss is gone for the day - whoo hoo! Let's celebrate!

    Cel-a-brate good times, come on!

Oh, and my laptop didn't get delivered today, so I'm without it for another evening.....

I've been wondering about the onion rings for a long time - I think I could get hooked on them! What drink goes with them? ..... I'll have one of those, please!

It's midsummers night and it's been pouring down all day!! I guess I'll stay indoors and watch Persuaders!

I've got a huge platter of onion rings here with dipping sauce if you like it.

Mario...please use your napkin to wipe your face off, not your sleeve. What are you gonna do????

MMMM thanks for the ribs whoever cooked them

    Randi,

For the days when the bar is closed.

    ONION RINGS

    Ingredients
    **************
    8 Large Onions
1 1/2 cup All Purpose Flour
    4 tbsp. Corn Meal
    4 tbsp. Onion Powder
    2 tsp. Salt
    1 1/2 cup Milk
    1 Large Egg
    1/2 cup Water
    1 tbsp. Orange Food Color

    Procedure
    *************
Combine flour, corn meal, onion powder, salt, milk, egg and water in a large mixing bowl and stir well and there are no lumps. Add food color if you prefer a nicer color to the finished batter. Slice the onions thick (about 1/2 inch). Use only the outer rings for best appearance and dip into batter. Drop coated rings into deep fryer and cook until golden brown. Drain on paper towels and serve.

Did anyone watch "The Simple Life" when Paris & Nicki tried to make onion rings? Hilarious!

Hi - just popped in for a minute and wanted to share this joke with you...........I'll have a slushie while you read it.

    "STAY"

I pulled into a crowded parking lot and rolled down the car
windows to make sure my golden retriever had fresh air.

She was stretched out on the back seat, and I wanted
to impress on her that she must remain there.

I walked to the curb backward, pointing my finger at the car
and saying emphatically, "Now you stay... Do you hear me?...

    Stay!.. Stay!"

The driver of a nearby car, perhaps noting that I am a blonde,
gave me a strange look and said.

"Why don't you just put it in park?"
