Bumping up for the night people

    9/3/13
I did the right thing by setting you free
But the pain is very deep.
If only I could turn back time, forever, you I'd keep.
    I miss you

I hear you whimper in your sleep
I gently pet you and say, no bad dreams
It will be alright, to my dog as dark as night.

Fur as dark as the night.
    Join me on this flight.
Paws of love that follow me.
In my heart you'll forever be.
    [/SIZE]

How I wish I could hold you near.
Turn back time to make it so.
Hug you close and never let go.

Thank you so much guys All of the nice thoughts make me feel a whole lot better, it just makes me feel...can't think of the exact word...wonderful that there are such caring people out there. I'm sending on the tail wags, kisses and hugs to Alex.

No, there isn't anything he can get into that is poisonous. He will flip the trash can lid up and get into stuff everyonce in a while, but we never put anything in the house trash that could be dangerous to any of the animals. The first episode we were leaning towards seizures, but now there's many more possibilities to consider. But we can't afford brain surgury, or any surgury really, but since Alex is so old, (his birthday's on Saturday!) surgury is almost not an option (for my mom anyway).

He's doing better now, no more signs of anything, except for those back legs. It looks like arthritis, but when it got worse during the episode we figured that it wasn't that (and so did the vet).

Now we're really just giving him even more attention, treats, and walks than we were before (it really is possible!), and he seems to really be enjoying it
