Oh poor Sox, it must have been painful for him. I'm glad your parents took him to the vet right away. Hopefully the surgery will go smoothly. We're keeping our fingers and paws crossed for him.

    Get well, Sox!!

Congratulations to your parents for being so observant and getting Sox to the vets on time.

Prayers and positive thoughts on the way that Sox's surgery goes well and he has a full and complete recovery so he can be back home in the arms of the people who love him the most.

    Naomi,
I guess observant pet people run in the family, eh? Great to hear that Sox will undergo the removal. I hope all goes well, and he is home with his parents soon. Hugs to you, your kitties, the A/V dept., and your parents and their kitties! (Whew, I am exhausted from all that hugging!)

Sox did really well in the surgery. They found a few stones and a lot of sandy bits that were developing into stones. We won't know why he got the crystals for about a week, as the vet has sent them off for analysis. The vet was sure that he would have to stay there until at least Tuesday afternoon, but he's recovering so nicely he might get to come home Monday morning

    Thanks, everyone, for the prayers!
