I always wondered, though never thought to ask, how exactly do you pronounce daschound? (sp?) and also, how do you pronounce Gigi? I always though jee jee (as in juno) but today my friend said gee gee (as is goat)

Dachshund is pronounced dacks-hoond (the 'oo' as in book), but I usually use dash-hound as they spend most of their days dashing about the place

I'd say Jee Jee for Miss Gigi, but Jen can confirm or deny that for us

As for me, I have no clue what the CORRECT pronounciation of dachshund is.

And her name is pronounced as "gee gee" or "g g" or "jee jee" or "naughty girl" or "sausage"... I can go on forever. LOL.
