Sweet Wilber

Wilber is SO CUDDLY that I could almost reach through the screen and cuddle him!! Are Wilber and Oreo Rescue kitties? I volunteer for Cat Sense, a rescue organization in Pittsburgh, where I able to adopt Nikki & Daisy. Oreo's girlfriend is doing good!

I didn't see this until now.

Yes they were rescue kitties form Operation Kindness, a no kill shelter here in Dallas. Oreo had a sister he was brought in with, but unfortunately someone had adopted her before we got there. Apparently they were pretty close

. But everything worked out for the best cause otherwise we may not have gotten Wilber.

When we walked in, I immediately bonded with Oreo and had my heart set on him. Every other kitten we would take out would hiss at poor Ori. TThen a volunteer walked in with a wet and scared Wilber who had just been found and bathed. Wilber and Oreo seemed to get along great, so home we went. When we got home, Ori was the hisser but that subsided quickly. They were just a liitle frightened.

Fast forward a year and a half, and I still know they were the best decision of my life
