I really don't know. I've got a card that holds almost 200 full sized ones. I never change the size on them.

My old 128mb card held like 2000+ small-sized pictures on it. "Small" is the size I normally post, which I think is rather big still. It has an error now, but I have 3 other (4 memory cards all together) I'm not sure how many MB they are, but I have two that hold around 300+ small-sized and the 16mb which came with the camera and hold 160+ small-sized pictures.

I'm going to get more before we go to Ohio, unless I can get my 128mb card to work.

    Small. Which is 640x480 pixels.

If I plan on printing something out, I use large which is 1600x1200 pixels. I normally do our 'photoshoots' in large and any scenery pictures I use. Sometimes i'll randomly do a 'large' if I plan using it for my desktop.

Okay, so does it make a diffence in how they look on here? I am sorry Kay, but it just seems like you would have to know all this, you know a lot more about digital cameras than I do. I am just in a learning stage with digitals, I always used a Miniota 9000 camera, and used 35 mm film.

I'd like to know the same thing!

Setting it on a smaller mode, will it make a difference on how the pictures look on here?

I would think they'd look better on here at smaller modes, since then you wouldn't have to resize them so much

    RIP Jasper. I can't believe you're gone.

They look the same as they do on my harddrive. sometimes though, it depends on where you load them to. (Imagestation, photobucket.. etc..)

I have 2 one that holds 23 pics, and one that holds over 100, I delete the pics off the cards all the time though so I can keep using them, and I just store the pics on the computer.

I've found that taking pictures at a larger size and resizing actually makes it look better (less noise, colors look more vibrant, etc). But generally, whether you take pictures in the smallest size or largest doesn't really affect the overall quality when you post it here. If you use imagestation though..it would reduce the quality by a bit.
