Yes, the Gentle Leader is thinner and is probably what I should have bought. It just looks more comfortable than the Halti, but when I went they didn't have a GL in Bella's size. They don't hurt at all. They work because as the dog pulls and tugs (as Bella has been known to do when she gets excited on walks) it causes her head to go down. The ring where you clip the leash on is on the bottom, thus the downward pull of the head. I was a little concerned the first time I used it because I didn't want her neck getting hurt. We practiced a little in the house and by the time I took her outside and we walked to the end of my driveway she "got with the program." Bella says, "it's no fun to pull if you can't see where you are going."

Here is Bella modeling her Halti. (Excuse the bad hair day - she was due for a grooming). I had this on her at an event where she was going to meet two rhodesian ridgbacks for the first time. After I felt secure enough that I could let her off leash the Halti came off much to her relief!

Kay, I got the biggest kick out of this picture, this would really be a good one to send to maybe Dog Fancy Magazine. I really mean it.

The pictures are great, of course. You always have great pictures.
Thanks for blurring me out. PT is for pictures of cute pets, not a scary woman.

I would love to have that picture of Brandy and me if you could. I PMed you my e-mail address if you can send it to me. Thanks.

If there ever come up another PT meeting, I think next time, I'll bring Tuffy. Poor Brandy was out sized. and wasn't sure how to react to the others. But she sure tried to act big. Thanks for invitng me.

LOL I just looked at the album, cute pictures. YOU took one of my car? LOL I was wondering at first, why the picture of the car, then I noticed it was a white car, MINE. LOL Didn't know you where back there, hope I you didn't see my interesting driving skills. I sort of got lost on the way home, I missed a turn.

Hope you don't mind, I'm going to steal one of Brandy's pictures on there. You have much better pic. of her then I do

Kay, I'm glad you, Val and all the others had such a great time
together! Thanks for putting the pics on for all of us to enjoy.
I loved the "don't feed the animals" sign picture!

It's always fun to see the photos of Simba and Duke! He was SO excited when Val told him where they were going. I could hardly keep him from jumping into the back of the wagon when I took him on a potty walk and when we returned, he DID jump in!

Looking forward to more pics in the future!

Great pics! Dogs standing on tables!!! I loved that one, and the one of Sim and Nala sleeping on the way back. Of course, Duke, Honey and Brandy. She might have been little, but, she was mighty, I am sure. Looked like a great time.
