When rescuing geriatric dogs, I guess that is something that we have to accept. We need to fill their life with love and comfort until God decides their souls are ready to move on.
Aneko wouldn't even be here right now if it weren't for your love and care. Thank you for everything you've done. When it is time for her to cross over to the Bridge, she will go knowing what love is and knowing what having a home is.
Peka was the first animal I've ever had to make the decision for. It wasn't easy at all. In fact, I had the phone in my hand ready to cancel the appointment. I kept thinking I could just give her another day, or another week, or another month .... But that wouldn't have been fair to her.
I know you will make the right decision and please know that I support you and am so grateful for the life that you have shown Aneko.
