Thanks for all of the nice comments everyone. I'll keep you posted as to how he's doing. Since he already knows his name, I think she's going to keep it. She may end up calling him Sunny or Mr. Shine too.

I bet it was hard for the foster mom. One reason I know I couldn't do it.

Sunshine's first night went very well. He bonded with Ann's son. Her son was lying on the floor and Sunshine came up to him and climbed up on his chest. He then went inside his t-shirt and stuck his head out of the neck hole and went to sleep.

Ann's dog Oliver loves Sunshine. He's acting like he's his mother and has been washing him. Ann's cat Nacho has been hissing at him but is very curious about him. I'm sure he'll give in soon and they'll be friends in no time.

Sunshine slept with Ann last night and was purring so loudly that he woke her up. He was also kneading her blanket. I hope to take more pictures in a few weeks. I want to show his foster mom how he's getting along with his 2 new brothers.

Oh what a wonderful day for Sunshine and your friend and you!!! I love happy endings ... but I also know the sorrow that his foster mom felt when she turned him over to your friend. Bittersweet for sure!

This is wonderful! I'm so pleased to hear about Sunshine's first night with his new family. It sounds great!

It's so good of you to take pictures for his foster mummy! She must be so upset just now. You can't raise a baby from days old and not become emotionally involved.

Yeah! Another kitty finds a wonderful home! What a great story KAK! And the description of his first night is so sweet. Sounds like Nacho is the only one that needs to come around a bit, but I don't think that will take long.
