    Grrrrrr!

    Our polls closed at 7:30 PM...

    "My" lil Rural precinct (out in the "boonies") has to "dump" all
    the *NEW* Lektronic Touch-Screen voting computers onto back-up disks;
    then *print* a preliminary report to post on the school doors;
    Shut down and wrap all the voting puters in their transport cases;
    Load everything into a poll worker's car;
    Drive half way across the County to a small city;
    Then *watch* while Board of Elections folks *read* all the outlying
    precinct disks and send them to the County Elections Office...

    It'll be 10 or 10:30 tonight BEFORE "MY Votes" are
    actually *recorded* by the County and are actually *COUNTED*...

    But at 8:30 - MSNBC and CNN and most of the TV Networks -
    had ALREADY Announced the John Kerry "WON in Ohio"

    WADE A MINNIT HERE ~ ~ ~
    You haven't counted "MY" vote yet!

    Anothe Tail by the lil phish swimmin round in
    da BIG POND!

    But Hey Karen ~ *I* VOTED!
    An feel Purdy Gud 'cause I did!!

    Thanks to everyone who voted!

    Shout it with me Phred - "I am NOT inconsequential!"

    Yeah, we're listed, just nobody bothers to campaign here, or poll here, or hold media events here ...

    At least 'til the much ballyhooed DNC comes to town this summer. That ought to be interesting at least!

    we are one of the last states like april or may. Glad I moved from Washington caucuses suck. We have the same stupid rules here if you declar as an indepedant you can't vote for any thing but that party and if no canadae you can't vote for anny other or your whole ballot is invald.
    Personal note >>>>>why not just have a ll start only 6 weeks ahead and that be over and done. It would waste less money and we wouldn't be told how stupid we are that we can't figure out whos the more crooked. sorry just sick of the stupid stuff.

    I voted...Oh well, onward! My guy, Edwards, did campaign in MA, Karen! He was in Boston for several events on Sat. Considering it's Kerry's home state and it was unlikely he would win, I'd say that was giving it his all
