As far as I know, Nutro isn't involved in any animal testing. I may be wrong, but I hope I'm not. I hate animal testing.

KBlaix said in another post (Best Dog Food) that they do. I haven't really heard much about the company.

Ugh Jasper's food AND Tigger's food!!

What do I do if Tigger won't eat anything else I try?

Also they may not ALL test as bad as Iams do, right?

    RIP Jasper. I can't believe you're gone.
RIP Tigger...I miss you every single day.

I'm pretty sure I red something about Nutro testing on animals, but let me get back to you, I may be wrong... I hope I am.

I didn't find anything credible saying that they defiantly do or do not test on animals. I did find that their web site says nothing at all in regards to animal testing, which makes me wonder. I did however email the company and asked them. I'm interested in how they respond. I'll post the reply when it comes.

Well, most of the dog food comapnies don't do the testing themselves -- it's the companies that own them. Most dog food companies are owned by soap companies, so most of the testing on animals would involve soap, makeup, etc.

I'm doing some more research on Nutro now. I see alot of sites saying that Nutro tests on animals, but some say that they do "nutrition tests" only. That could mean anything. I also read that Nutro is sueing Iams. I'm going to email Nutro and ask about their testing.

Ok, thank you very much for checking that for me! Also wolfsoul, thank you as well. I may end up with the Chicken Soup brand instead, I don't want to promote companies that do animal testing, I despise that, it's awful... Is there a post somewhere about companies in general that test on animals or a website I could check out?
