Kurby May Be Hurt!
Last night during our feeding we noticed Kurby not acting quite himself. He was way off in a distance and we called for him to come eat. He walked VERY slowly and looked like he was in pain. He made it to the food, but just didn’t seem to feel good. We went home to get a carrier to try and capture him to take to the vet. We got back and of course no Kurby. We drove all over the park calling and shining the headlights hoping to see him. Kevin went again this morning and still no Kurby. We’re going tonight and hopefully he’ll come around to eat. Wish us luck!
Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) is a full management plan in which stray and feral cats already living outdoors in cities, towns, and rural areas are humanely trapped, then evaluated, vaccinated, and sterilized by veterinarians. Kittens and tame cats are adopted into good homes. Healthy adult cats too wild to be adopted are returned to their familiar habitat under the lifelong care of volunteers
