    Thank you SO much guys.

My mom went to see her in the hospital last night. She needs to stay there so they can moniter her ulcer. My mom said my grandma is optimistic about everything -- that's my nonna!

Liana, I am sorry but I have been reading and posting very little for a while (because, oddly enough, I had a stomach bug which in turn aggrevated my ulcer!) so I have only just seen this about your grandma. I will say a prayer for her to be feeling better very, very, soon.

Thanks for the prayers guys. It means a lot. Apparently, all is well with her and she is doing fine.

Chris - No need to apologize. I hope your feeling better soon too!

I'm sorry I just saw this post. (Must make a note to myself to visit General more often)
I'm so glad to read that your Nonna is doing so much better. She will be in my prayers that she continues to have good health.
Nothing is more endearing than the love of a Grandmother. I never had the pleasure of knowing my grandparents, but when I saw how my mother was with my sons, then I knew the love of a grandmother.

rg_girl - I'm sorry you never met your grandparents. I'm not close with either of mine but you do start to appreciate them more as you get older.

My mom told us that my grandmother is so bored, just waiting in the hospital. She has been taking walks around to pass the time. hehe. My mom left to pick her up. At least she'll be home for the holidays. Thank you all so much for the good thoughts and prayers.
