    I just now found this post. I'm so glad he survived the cut. But sometimes that can be a mixed blessing if he is supposed to take on additional responsibilities. (It's what has happened to my husband and has led to a lot of stress in our marriage ).

    But still, congratulations, it must be such a relief. The park cats must be doing happy dances.
